Annual SiNERGe Sickle Cell Symposium

This course aims to address the paucity of sickle cell knowledge among healthcare providers and team members who provide care for patients with sickle cell disease by providing information and development activities to promote quality improvement in sickle cell disease care. Despite over 100,000 individuals living with sickle cell disease, there is a lack of providers knowledgeable in the management of sickle cell disease. This barrier to accessing quality evidence-based care leads to poor outcomes and poor utilization.
