About the Event
The course covers PID tuning. PID Control loops remain the main algorithm for controlling process flows, pressures, temperatures and levels in industry. However, tuning them for best performance is often a skill missing from many plants.
This course teaches how to tune the different types of PID control loop using the various techniques from a methodical trial and error method to more rigorous approaches and computer-based tuning and how to implement them in your Digital Control System.
Simulation based practicals are used. Learnings can be applied to all DCS systems.
